For more encouragement, the government of India launched 9 schemes for women entrepreneurship. Here is a list of various schemes and loans exclusively for women that aim to promote and to ease out the process for them.
1. Annapurna Scheme
The name Annapurna clearly defines its meaning that this scheme is mainly for the businesses related to the food catering industry in order to sell packed meals, snacks etc. This loan is provided by state bank of Mysore. By the help of this loan business, women can fulfill the need of fund for various purposes like buying utensils and other kitchen tools and equipment.
2. Stree Shakti Package for Women Entrepreneur
This scheme is also managed by state bank of India. Under this scheme, the bank provides a loan to the women who have 50% or more shares in any firm and business. The interest rate is very low under this scheme. Infect, this scheme also offers a discount rate of interest by 0.50% if the loan amount is more than 2 lakhs.
3. Bharatiya Mahila Bank Business Loan
This scheme offers the loan for those women who want to set up or start a new venture. This loan is taken mainly for the fulfill of capital or working capital. The maximum amount of loan provided under this scheme is up to 20 crores. And the best part of this loan is that there is no need of any collateral security for a loan up to 1 crore.
4. Dena Shakti Scheme
This scheme is helping those women who are working in the field of agricultural, manufacturing, micro-credit, retail stores or small enterprises. This scheme is managed by Dena Bank. The maximum amount of loan can be 20 lakhs for retail trades and 50 thousand for microcredit.
5. Udyogini Scheme
This scheme is for those women who are involved in Agriculture, retail and small business enterprises at flexible and concessional interest rates. This scheme is managed and offer by Punjab and Sind Bank.
6. Cent Kalyani Scheme
This scheme offers a loan to those women who are engaged in village and cottage industries. This scheme is managed by the Central Bank of India. The women who want to start a new venture or expanding existing one can also avail of this scheme…
7. Mahila Udyam Nidhi Scheme
This scheme is offered to those women who are involved in small-scale industries. Women want to open their own beauty parlors, daycare centers or purchase of auto rickshaw can also avail the benefit of this scheme.
8. Mudra Yojana Scheme for Women
This scheme doesn’t require any collateral security and can be availed as per 3 schemes-
1. Shishu –upto Rs. 50000
2. Kishore- from Rs.50000 up to 5 lakhs.
3. Tarun- up to Rs. 10 lakhs.
9. Orient Mahila Vikas Yojana Scheme
This scheme is provided by an Oriental Bank of Commerce for those women who are involved in small-scale industries. No collateral security is required for loans of 10 lakhs up to 25 lakhs. The period of repayment is 7 years.
