Affectionately, we known Ganguly as Dada or the Prince of Kolkata. Ganguly is a former
Indian cricketer and captain of the Indian national team. Now Dada is appointed as the
President of the cricket association of Bengal and President of the Editorial board with Wisden India. Dada is also known as God of the off side due to his elegant strokeplay through the off side. World’s leading batsman and greatest captain of the national cricket team, member of the Indian premiere league governing council and also the member of Technical committee, Indian premiere league.

Ganguly started his career in cricket from the school and state teams. Introduced in cricket by his elder brother, Snehasish( regarded as India’s most sucessful captain in modern times
and greatest ODI batsman in all time).

After playing in different Indian domestic tournaments, and got his break while playing
for India in their tour of England. Due to match fixing scandals by other player, Sachin resigned from his captaincy in 2000 and Ganguly was made the captain of Indian cricket team. Ganguly is currently a part of the Supreme court of India appointed Justice Mudgal
committee probe panel for the IPL spot fixing And betting scandal investigations.
