Latest Government Scheme For Rural Areas
As we are talking about government scheme for rural areas, first we have to know that what are rural areas? The area located outside the cities and other than urban areas are known as rural areas. The rural area is the place where we can see the real difference between the poor and the rich people of our country.
According to our prime minister Shree Narendra Modi, the development of urban as well as rural areas both is important. So the local, state and central government have started the schemes for the development of rural areas of our country. Because as the rural people are also the member of our country and they also have the right to enjoy equal facilities. The statutory duties of the government are limited but still, they are performing a valuable and consultative role with the principal authorities, especially in rural areas.
The Ministry of Rural Development manages these schemes. Mr. Narendra Singh, the minister of rural development, particularly gives his attention to the health, education, drinking water, housing and roads of rural areas.
Government schemes for rural development
1.Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojna
This scheme is fulfilling its purpose of giving the job to poor youths of the rural area very well. Because jobs are given to youths according to their skills and this program also help them to develop their skills.
2. Swachchh Bharat Mission
The success and working of swatch Bharat mission are not hidden from any Indian. In Rural area, this scheme especially works for increasing uses of toilets for hygiene purpose.
3. Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS)
This scheme is a great opportunity for Indian labors and especially for women because it is the foremost condition of this scheme that 50% of workers should be women. It encourages women to take initiative in the development of their own.
4. Training to Rural Youth for Self Employment (TRYSEM)
This scheme targets to provide technical and business expertise to Rural. This scheme is also helping in minimizing the problem of unemployment.
5. Antyodaya Anna Yojna (AAY)
The scheme provides eatable food grains to around 2 crores below the poverty line.
6. National Rural Health Missions
The scheme provides facilities of health care and dispensary so that rural people can get medical facilities at affordable price.
7. Sarva Siksha Abhiyan
The scheme provides the free and compulsory education for all children belong to every section of the country.
8. National Rural Livelihood Mission
This scheme provides the loan to small women group of rural areas at the lower interest rate to help them in empower.
